Professional Design Experience
Dr. Edgell is a registered Architect who has designed a variety of buildings (over 1.4 million square feet of space) and has knowledge of current design trends, theories, and collaborative processes. JGPG needed to decide between three design scenarios for the Pier 70 project in San Francisco. Dr. Edgell was asked to develop a decision framework. He created a comprehensive fourteen-point guideline for aesthetic, structural, and functional considerations. By using the guideline, the JGPG team was able to quickly reach consensus and select an option.
